Courses for Groups

We usually arrange courses for groups, some of the most prestigious UK colleges are our clients and we collaborate with excellent US colleges. Although working for groups, we tend to maintain a quality range as for individuals.

We are available throughout the whole year, but the most popular times are from March to June and from September to October.

If the objective for a trip is to learn Italian and to undertake several activities with a cultural purpose, if the parents, the teachers, the monitors and the students want to be suited in a quiet area not in city surroundings and they prefer a residential or homestay accommodation, il Sillabo group programs are “your” place.

SAN GIOVANNI – YOUR CAMPUS IN A CASTLE

We think that considering the above objectives, our location/school would be perfect.

We offer on-demand services normally including some of the following:

  • 2 to 4-hour group morning class in groups of maximum 10-15 - accommodation in apartments in two different buildings (one teacher for each building)
  • accommodation in double rooms with half board with host families
  • lunch meals at the local canteen
  • packet lunch prepared by host families
  • lunch with host families
  • free accommodation in single bedrooms in hotels for instructor(s).
  • school phone availability 24/7
  • free internet access (1 desktop and wireless in the school building)
  • meet and greet in San Giovanni Valdarno (if they don't need to be picked up at the airport)
  • welcome reception/buffet
  • teaching aids
  • orientation tour in San Giovanni Valdarno
  • afternoon (or full day) field trip(s) to Arezzo, Orvieto, Perugia, Pisa (by train - with or without our English speaking monitor)
  • afternoon (or full day) field trip to Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Orvieto, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Volterra, Cheese Farm, Olive Oil farm (by private coach – with or without our English speaking monitor)
  • afternoon cooking lesson(s) (with dinner prepared by themselves)
  • hiking in the countryside
  • after-dinner activities with own instructor or our English speaking monitor

Airport Transfers: From PISA Fiumicino airport
Accommodation: Host families: shared room, full board

Schedule

Sunday:
Arrival at PISA, meet and greet at the airport with il sillabo staff, transfer to location and welcome by host families.

Monday:
Language classes at the school. During the break, welcome buffet and orientation meeting. Afternoon guided walking tour of San Giovanni Valdarno, drink with other students.

Tuesday:
Morning language classes. Afternoon field trip to Florence.

Wednesday:
Morning language classes. Afternoon field trip to Arezzo. Cooking course followed by dinner.

Thursday:
Morning language classes. Afternoon field trip to Siena.

Friday:
Morning language classes. Afternoon hiking in the countryside or horse back riding.

Saturday:
Free morning for shopping in the colourful street market in town. Departure for Pisa airport
